TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Related to Grama Blend UK Ltd, hereafter known as “the Company” in the following conditions.

  1. Terms of Payment.

No orders will be processed until the deposit is received, subject to credit worthiness.

Planning and schedule of production will only start after receipt of confirmed specifications, written order and deposit.

No orders will be released for delivery until the invoice/s are paid in full.

  1. a)     Supply only.

Unless specified to the contrary all orders are, supply only, invoices are due for payment in full on day of the order of goods.

  1. b)    Supply and installation.

A minimum of 50% deposit of the materials total is due with order; the balance of supply is due in full a minimum of 5 working days before dispatch.  Please Note late payments may delay dispatch of your orders. Payment for any labour is due in full on day of completion. Any discounts given may be withdrawn on late payments.

  1. c)    Discount and Late Payment.

If payment in full or part is outstanding after 14 days of delivery or completion, we reserve the right to withdraw any discounts given and invoices will be due in full.

  1. d)     Interest Rate.

We reserve the right, in any event, to claim interest at 10% per month from the date of invoice.

  1. The title of Goods.

The title will NOT pass to the “Buyer” until payment in full of the purchase and installation price as stated on the invoice is paid to the “company”.  A more comprehensive explanation of this clause is available upon request.

  1. Prices.

Are subject to alteration without prior notice. Our price lists are for guidance only, in no circumstances does it constitute an offer to sell our products at the published price by our own or any of our resellers.

  1. Delivery/Quotations.

Are given in good faith in light of delivery position and subject to availability of materials. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within the quoted period, but no liability can be accepted should it be exceeded.

  1. Quotations.

Are based on current costs and are subject to amendments on or after acceptance to meet any recognized rise in such costs.  Such rises will apply at the date of invoice/dispatch irrespective of date ordered.

  1. Order Cancellation.

As all goods are NOT stocked items. We cannot accept cancellation of orders. The right is reserved to refuse cancellation of orders in case of goods in the process of transit from our raw stone supplier manufacture ready for dispatch, in transit and collected/delivered.

  1. Conditions of Order.

In the event of any customer’s official order form containing any special conditions, it is understood that such conditions are only binding in so far as they are not of any variation with the terms and conditions mentioned herewith unless specifically accepted by us in writing.

  1. Credits.

We cannot accept goods for credit where goods have been correctly supplied to order. Where, however, we agree voluntarily to such a return, a handling charge of 20% to 30% or £100.00, which ever is the greater, will be charged.

  1. Short Delivery Claims.

No claim for short delivery can be entertained unless signified at the time of delivery. Customer’s signature on delivery notes accompanied by remarks such as “ unexamined” or similar will not be binding to the Company.

  1. Damaged Goods.

No claim for damaged goods can be entertained unless a claim is received in writing at the above company’s official office within 48 hours of receipt of goods. No claim for unboxed goods will be accepted unless signified on time of delivery, only then will valid claims for damaged goods be considered for replacement. All damaged goods must be returned to us before a credit can be issued.

  1. Natural Variation.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any reasonability for panels faulty in any way, once these said goods have been fixed, as all goods should be carefully inspected before fixing. For the utilization of natural stone you have to be aware that due to natural differences in colour and structure, open areas, veins, faults, grain, shades may be visible.  These are natural characteristics of all natural stone and do not entitle to any complaint.   We always recommend the use of granite on for flooring, as it is more durable in high traffic areas.  Suggestion for uses of stone does not indicate they will never show signs of wear when used for those purposes. The use of goods implies their acceptance by the Customer

  1. No Sale or Return.

No stone or ancillary materials can be supplied on a sale or return basis.

  1. Site Deliveries.

Site deliveries are only undertaken on the understanding that purchaser will be responsible for the offloading the goods and store the same to prevent theft or damage from weather etc.  Orders must be greater than 500 Kg.   We reserve the right to decline a site delivery. We will only make one delivery attempt to a site.

  1. Installation Areas.

All areas to be fitted should be prepared ready to receive stone panels. Unless specified in writing, our estimates and invoices do NOT include labour, plant or materials to take up and remove old coverings or to prepare walls, flooring, ceilings etc.  If any labour, plant or materials are needed to prepare sub bases a day rate and material price will be incurred.

  1. Rubble & Rubbish.

On completion rubbish and rubble will be bagged up in rubble bags and left tidally on site.  Our representatives at a cost if requested can remove these bags. This cost is not included unless stated in writing on the estimate or invoice.

  1. Specifications & Colours.

All colours and Specifications are approximate, natural products may vary considerably; they are indicative only and should not be regarded as precise. Specifications are correct at time of publication but may change thereafter.

  1. Qualities and Use.

  1. Samples Shown & Supplied.

The Company reserves the right to refuse any reasonability for materials supplied incorrectly or in fact faulty in any way, once these said goods have been fixed, as all goods should be carefully inspected before fixing. The use of goods implies their acceptance by the Customer.

  1. Labour & Installation.

When an approved installation company is being paid directly we take no responsibility for labour or works carried out, as the company is contracted directly to the client. It is the sole responsibility of the client to make sure the installer has the correct instructions regarding installation procedures and layout. The stone should be inspected and approved by the client and fitter before installation. We advise all clients should be on site to oversee the start of installation. Any offer, estimate or quote regarding installation is given by the company, is intended as a rough guide and in no circumstances does it constitute an offer to carry out the installation for this sum. The installation company contracted should be asked to confirm his price.

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions.

The purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions of sale, without reservation, upon the placing of any order for the supply of goods and services.
